Energy assessments or audits can take many hours to complete. Often, energy audits can take 5 or 6 hours to complete or longer. This session shows the students how to streamline the audit process in order to collect the necessary information without spending an inordinate amount of time. Energy auditors must develop a process for auditing homes that is repetitive and time efficient. This session helps the students establish a process that will lessen the time required in a home while still leading to a profitable Home Performance Project. You will learn:

1. About the detailed process of diagnosing homes.
2. Why its critically important to expedite and streamline the diagnostic process.
3. How to reduce the amount of time conducting an energy audit.
4. Why improving the process of conducting energy audits can greatly improve the profitability of your business.
