Pressure diagnostics can be critically important when diagnosing pressure boundary problems in homes. However, the concept of performing pressure diagnostics in homes is often misunderstood and is confusing to energy auditors. This session focuses on the technique of setting up the manometer for pressure diagnostic tests and helps the students better understand what the results mean and then how to include actions in the workscope to correct problems that are found. You will also learn:

1. How to conduct Zone to Zone Pressure Diagnostics with and without using a Blower Door.
2. You will see why aligning thermal and pressure barriers is critical to the performance of our homes.
3. You will understand why targeted air sealing can change the location and effectiveness of pressure barriers.
4. And you will gain a better understanding of why zone to zone pressure diagnostics can help us to improve comfort, lowers utility bills and increase the energy efficiency of our homes.
