Indoor air quality (IAQ) requirements can be very confusing in the industry today. From ASHRAE 62-89 to 2010 to 2016, what is required and what is considered to be best practice? This course summarizes the evolution of the ASHRAE 62 Standard and provides a clear understanding to the participants as to what is required and why.
You will also learn:

1. About Indoor Air Quality standards and what they require.
2. You will see what type of indoor air pollutants are typically found in home and what we can do about them.
3. You will understand why natural ventilation in our homes can lead to poor indoor air quality and poor levels of comfort & energy efficiency.
4. And you will gain a better understanding of why comprehensive air sealing together with Mechanical Ventilation can help us to improve Indoor Air Quality, increase comfort, lower utility bills and raise the energy efficiency levels of our homes.
