Measuring Exhaust Fan Flow - 1 CEU

Exhaust fan flow can be a difficult thing to assess without a proper understanding of how to use the Exhaust Fan Flow Meter. The Exhaust Fan Flow Meter allows for quick, accurate measurement of exhaust fan flow rates in homes, but proper set-up and use are essential for accurate results. This course will show proper set-up of the meter and the manometer. Also shown will be interpreting results and common causes of poor fan flow. You will learn:

1. About the different types of residential mechanical exhaust fans and what they are designed to do.
2. You will see why residential mechanical exhaust fans can improve the indoor air quality in our homes.
3. You will understand how to measure exhaust fan flow to better recognize the true air flow rate of residential mechanical exhaust fan systems
4. You will gain a better understanding of why residential mechanical exhaust fans can help us to improve the indoor air quality of our homes.
