Attics are usually tight, cramped, uncomfortable places to work. They can get extremely hot on a typical summer day and moving around can be difficult. For Home Performance Contractors, working in attics is a common practice that must be conducted safely.
In order to perform the work safely however, there are precautions that must be considered and you will need planning, experience, and caution. A little prep work can often avoid a serious accident.
In this course you will learn:
- How to move around and work safely in attics
- Avoiding heat stress in attics
- Respiratory safety in attics
- Avoiding contact with hazardous materials or those that may cause skin irritation
- Electrical safety in attics
- And entering and exiting attics safely.
