SAFETY SERIES - Mold Safety - .25 CEU

Mold in residential building is relatively common. In relatively small amounts, mold can be cleaned up without too much trouble and is often not a problem. If left unattended for long periods of time, however, mold can become a very widespread and serious problem for homeowners.

It is critically important to determine the root causes of mold and to provide recommendations and solutions to prevent mold from forming again. Untreated mold can cause serious damage to building materials and cause negative health effects in some people.

In this course you will learn:
1. What mold is, and how it can have negative health effects on the occupants of a home.
2. Common areas of a home that may have mold formation.
3. Strategies you can use to prevent mold from forming in the future.
4. And a GreenHomes case study of a mold mystery with recommendations and solutions.
