Documenting pre-existing conditions, before starting any job, is essential for the Contractor. A Notification of Conditions document protects the Contractor from potential blame for damage to the home - damage that existing prior to starting any work. In this course you will learn:

1. The purpose of a Notification of Conditions document.
2. A basic understanding of attic safety.
3. The process of what to look for in the home, and what should be included in your Notification of Conditions document.
4. What conditions should be present to introduce this document to the homeowner. Some jobs will not need this document at all.
5. How to speak with the homeowner about what you find in their home,
6. And how this document can help minimize the potential of customer dissatisfaction.
